2. Describe the role of staging in patients with Stage I, II and III melanoma

Keith A. Delman, MD
Dr. Keith Delman’s clinical interests
encompass melanoma and cancers of the skin; sarcoma; hepatobiliary cancers;
pancreatic cancers; and cancers of the colon, rectum, and GI tract. His
clinical and translational research focuses on experimental treatments of
tumors of the skin, soft tissue, and gastrointestinal tract, and he is
currently involved in clinical trials and protocol based treatment of melanoma,
sarcoma, and gastrointestinal cancers.
In addition to being a member of the
Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American
Hepato-Pancreatobiliary Association, and the Eastern Cooperative Oncology
Group, Dr. Delman is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member
of its Oncology Group. He is also establishing himself as a thought provoking
speaker on a variety of cancer-related topics, is a manuscript reviewer for the
Annals of Surgical Oncology, and is building an extensive bibliography.
